Friday Trivia
Made it to Friday…
TODAY’S TRIVIA: The NCAA Track & Field Outdoor Championships started Wednesday and wrap up tomorrow (tune in more live tomorrow at Hayward Field in Eugene, Oregon).
Who are the defending champions?Click to reveal |
Hint (M): This school won another national title this year
Hint (W): This school has NOT won another national title this year
I almost did a question on the U.S. Open, but I couldn’t quite think of one (also, I ran track, so I’m biased). In any case, here are some fun facts:
The U.S. Open is typically played on a more difficult course (it has the highest average score among all the majors), and Oakmont is a particularly tough one. It is considered in the top 20 most difficult courses in the country (of about 16,000). So, it’s not the toughest, but it’s pretty hard.
Brutal fun fact: Phil Mickelson is one of the greatest golfers of all time, but he has never claimed a U.S Open victory. He has finished as the runner-up a record 6 times…yikes.
Yesterday’s Trivia:
Chet Holmgren was drafted 2nd overall out of Gonzaga. The next highest drafted player was Bennedict Mathurin (Arizona), drafted 6th overall in the 2022 draft.
Answered Correctly: 75%

Thanks for playing. See you tomorrow.
