Friday Trivia
Morning Thoughts:
Yesterday’s women’s gold medal match between Canada and the US was one of the greatest hockey games I’ve ever witnessed. Ever. It was so so good.
Megan Keller has probably the prettiest OT gold medal winner that we will ever see.
I also had to mention the other unreal feat was the comeback story of American figure skater Alysa Liu. She was the US Champion at 13, retired at 16, came back at 18, became a world champion again at 19, and now is a gold medal winner at 20.
She also needs to become a sports physiologist or at least have a TED Talk on how she approaches the sport. She seems impervious to the pressure of the moment.
Oh, and maybe the best moment? As she is skating off the ice after her free skate, she looks at the camera and says, “That’s what I’m f***ing talking about!” Love it.
Olympic Schedule:
With the time change, it’s sometimes hard to avoid spoilers when looking up the Olympics schedule. This website has been helping me avoid them.
Today’s Trivia:
In that gold medal game, the USA’s captain, Hilary Knight, scored the game-tying goal with 2:04 left in regulation to send the game into overtime.
Knight also got engaged this week to another Olympian…
Who is that Olympian?click to reveal |
Hint:
She has two bronze medals
Yesterday’s Trivia:
