Morning thoughts:

One of my all-time favorite players, LA Kings’ Anze Kopitar, played his last game after the Kings got swept in the opening round of the NHL playoffs by the Presidents’ Trophy-winning Avalanche.

Also tough watching a legend hang ‘em up.

Today’s Trivia:

On Friday, the Giants beat the Dodgers and ended Shohei Ohtani’s on-base streak at 53 games.

Even if he were to have continued the streak, he would still have to last another 30 games before tying the all-time record of 84 games.

Who holds the record for the longest on-base streak in MLB history?
