Morning Thoughts:

I come to you with incredible news. It was just announced that there will be a new professional curling league: The “Rock League” will feature the following teams:

• Alpine Curling Club

• Frontier Curling Club

• Maple United

• Shield Curling Club

• Northern United

• Typhoon Curling Club

I’m going to have to pick a team…I think “Maple United” might be the early frontrunner.

Olympic Schedule:

With the time change, it’s sometimes hard to avoid spoilers when looking up the Olympics schedule. This website has been helping me avoid them.

Today’s Trivia:

Mikaela Shiffrin did it. She is already considered the Goat, but yesterday’s gold in the Slalom solidified that. She doesn’t have to endure another 4 years of questions about “can she get it done at the Olympics?”

So happy for her. I’ll admit it, I cried.

Although she attended Burke Mountain Academy, Shiffrin was born in a western ski town.
