Tuesday Trivia

Morning thoughts:

Yesterday, I had placeholders for the NYC Marathon winners: Kenya’s Hellen Obiri set a new course record for the women (2:19:51), and Benson Kipruto won the men’s race at the line (2:08:09). Sorry about that.

59,226 people finished the marathon yesterday, setting a new record for the largest marathon ever.

Today’s Trivia:

Men’s and women’s college basketball is officially back with games all across the board last night. The early schedule is important because it’s often the only time top-ranked programs across different conferences face off.

Once conference play begins, we rarely see matchups like last night, where defending champion Florida (3, SEC) took on Arizona (13, Big 12). Arizona won 93-87.

The women’s champions will start their season tonight against Louisville (20, ACC).

Who are the defending champions?
