Tuesday Trivia
Okay…so it seemed that no one knew that Chris Evert is considered the Queen of Clay. That one is my bad. Only 6% of you knew that Chris Evert won a record 7 French Open titles in the 70s and 80s.
She held the record for the most ever by anyone until Rafa came along.
The French Open quarterfinals continue today with American Francis Tiafoe (15) taking on Italian Lorenzo Musetti (8) at 8:40am ET and Tommy Paul (2) taking on tournament favorite Carlos Alcaraz (2) at 2:15pm ET. Both matchups are on TNT.
TODAY’S TRIVIA: We’re going back to the French Open with a redemption question.
There are four distinct types of tennis courts: hard courts, clay courts, grass courts, and carpet (synthetic turf) courts, with each one having its one unique style.

Fun fact: The French Open was originally played on grass in 1891 before switching to a sand surface (1892-1907) before switching to the iconic “clay” court in 1908. The “clay” is actually a base layer of gravel and coal residue, with the surface being a mix of white limestone and crushed red brick.
Yesterday’s Trivia:
