Wednesday Trivia

Morning thoughts:

The stingy and resilient Blue Jays have extended this series after taking Game 4 last night (6-2). The win guarantees that the series will head back to Toronto for Game 6 (and 7 if necessary).

Game 5 of the World Series is tonight at 8pm ET on Fox Sports.

Today’s Trivia:

We have a move at quarterback this week.

The New Orleans Saints will replace Spencer Rattler with rookie QB Tyler Shough in their upcoming matchup against the LA Rams. The Saints (1-7) are tied with the Titans and the Jets for the worst record in the NFL.

Tyler Shough (26 years old) played for three different schools in college (seems like he milked those COVID eligibility rules).

Shough was drafted into the NFL out of which school?

Hint:

The first 5 QBs selected in the 2025 draft were drafted out of these schools (bonus if you can map each QB to each school)

Another scandal:

Ruth Chepng'etich has received a three-year ban for admitting to a doping violation back in March. As a reminder, she tested positive for high levels of hydrochlorothiazide (HCTZ), which is a banned diuretic used to mask the presence of other performance-enhancing drugs.

Chepng'etich is the world record holder in the marathon. She broke the record by almost 2 minutes (2:09.56) last year at the Chicago Marathon. While the record will stand, a layer of doubt now looms around the validity of that time.

Yesterday’s Trivia:
