Wednesday Trivia
Morning thoughts:
2026 still feels weird so far. I almost did a question about the John Harbaugh news, but I couldn’t make all the questions about fired head coaches.
Either way, crazy that the Ravens parted ways with him, and he will be a top candidate at all the open positions (and even some that are not open).
Wild but true: the Ravens have only had three head coaches in their entire history (since ‘96), and Harbaugh was there for 18 years.
Today’s Trivia:
Montana State won its first FCS title since 1984 on Monday night in a 35-34 OT win over Illinois State.
Montana State converted a 4th & 10 to score the game-winning touchdown, which came after giving up a 28-14 lead in the third quarter.
What is the Illinois State nickname?click to reveal |
Fun fact:
Until 1923, Illinois State University was the “Fighting Teachers.” Can’t make this up.
One more Fun Fact:
The game-winning TD pass was caught by junior wide receiver, Taco Dowler. Awesome name.
