Last night, Venezuela beat Team USA, 3-2, to win their first World Baseball Classic. After going down early, the Americans tied things up in the 8th inning thanks to a Bryce Harper 2-run homer, but it was Edgenio Suárez who had the key double in the 9th to give Venezuela the lead, and ultimately the win, in the 9th.
Team USA has only won one World Baseball Classic…
