Morning thoughts:
Did you see the news about Mike Tomlin “stepping down” as Steelers head coach?
It’s interesting because by stepping down, he is still under contract with the Steelers. I could see a Sean Payton move coming where Tomlin could announce for a year and then come by (likely via trade from the Steelers).
While I can make jokes about how he’s always one game above .500 and gets bounced in the first round, he did go 19 seasons without a losing season. Pretty absurd stat in the NFL and only legendary coach Tom Landry (20 seasons).
