The Headline: The 95th Midsummer Classic was last night in Atlanta’s Truist Park, where the NL won for only the 2nd time in the last 13 games.
The game was actually fun? The NL went up 6-0, but after the AL tied things up 6-6, it came down to a swing-off (basically a mini home run derby). Kyle Schwarber went 3-3, securing the MVP award and the win for the NL.
TODAY’S TRIVIA: Only one player has ever won the All-Star MVP and World Series MVP in the same year.
